Gods of Olympus?
So, there has been a lot going on behind the scenes. I just got the gift of an Olympus evolt 300 (sp?) to use. I'm thinking that I may have to keep this awkward treasure. I'm liking some of the photos that are coming out. Three of my last four pics on my Buzznet account were taken with the new camera. However, I have been holding off on posting the others as I am just getting ready to use the damn thing. The fact that the advanced controls give me more manual control than what I have on the old cheapo Canon. It's an exciting new world of possibilities.
The featured picture in this post ("left") was taken a few weeks back. When I decided to treat it, I wanted it to have a feel of an antique kind of parchment from an old boxing manual or something. It was meant to be dated looking but it also plays along with the left hand (and arm) becoming the dominant of the two. I find it quite interesting how that all has worked out. My left hand and arm have the strength whereas the right is lagging a bit because of the accident. A fight for control... a left jab to feel out the opponent.
I have to go now. I’ve been bopping in between typing up this entry and answering posts in our forums here at work. My reload time takes forever so I figured that I would multitask here. Now, I am helping decorate a friend’s cube here at work. It is her birthday tomorrow and she is simply marvy.
Later…
